Worth a Watch

I am consistently looking at all things turf content related and sometimes feel the need to share the good ones as I realize most people do not seek this kind of stuff out. Creating video content under the GK GC brand is the eventual goal but until the right partners are found to bring my vision to life you should watch this good stuff to pass the time. Nobody knows, and few care, if you are watching this on the clock or not. All that matters is that you watch and enjoy.

A true love story; Man loves golf. Man buys golf property. Man maintains and turns golf property in special place. Turns out Andy and his family are pretty special. A wonderful piece on Covesea Golf Links from the fine fellas at the Links Diary.

Fried Egg Golf with the support of Toro have been creating some of the best content in the game with their All Turf Is Local series. It is first class documentary style content that really showcases the work and the people responsible for it in a thoughtful and original way. It’s worth watching each episode if you have not yet.

Keeping with the links theme get a behind the scenes look at the people behind the most iconic course in the world. The interview with longtime keeper Billy Nichols is as pure as it gets.

I love Bandon, who doesn’t. But the first part in a three part series really hits with stunning visuals, great people and top notch insights.

I could link the entire series but I’ll leave it with this one as I also love the little guys in the golf world. The culture and people showcased here at Eagle Lake had me ready to go volunteer just so I could hang out with them.

Last but definitely not least is a new Turf Pod on the block in Under the Greens. Part travel doc and part Turf Podcast Tyler and Morgan sit down in the shop and have a relaxed conversation with (in this case) Pam Smith. Pam seems like a boss anybody would enjoy working with.
